Short version: how many people came and roughly how long they stayed. Nothing that says who you are, and nothing that follows you to other websites.
Most of what is on this site is free. Knowing which parts people actually use is what decides where the next month of work goes — and if any of it ever carries advertising, an ad network will ask for these figures before approving it. That is the whole reason this exists.
Two random numbers are kept in your own browser. One lasts until you close the tab, so a visit can be counted as one visit. The other stays until you clear your browser, so a returning visitor is not counted as a brand new one every time.
They are random. They are not derived from anything about you, and because browsers keep this storage separate per website, a number set on one of these apps cannot be read by any other site — including the rest of ours. It is not possible to follow you around the web with them.
Nothing is stored in your browser and no measurements are sent. Our servers still keep a daily tally of how many requests each site received, worked out from a value that is scrambled fresh every day and never touches your device — so it cannot be connected to you, or to yesterday.
If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal we skip the question entirely and measure nothing.
The measurements sit in our own database on Cloudflare. Nothing is passed to any analytics company, because there isn't one — this was written rather than bought, specifically so there was no third party in the middle.
You can switch this at any time, on any of our sites.
Each of our sites is a separate address, so the choice is remembered per site. Setting it here covers hilton-industries.uk; the games will ask once on their own.
